I have migrated over to WordPress, so I don't check this blog very often. I do faintly remember the passage, but I can't remember which novel it's in. Maybe in "Back When We Were Grownups"? In the passage, an old man is looking at a picture of himself and his wife when they were younger. He sees them both smiling into the camera, and he wonders why wasn't I looking at her? I could have been looking at her instead of wasting that moment looking into the camera.

If you remember it, I'd absolutely love your help in locating that passage.Jacques Bouchardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18395070230968647892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21031350.post-55419245692438361482012-06-19T07:32:51.601-04:002012-06-19T07:32:51.601-04:00How come she spells her name differently sometimes...How come she spells her name differently sometimes?Kitchen worktops guyhttp://www.madetofit.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21031350.post-6664485340079131412012-05-02T10:03:52.359-04:002012-05-02T10:03:52.359-04:00Glad it was fun, Susan! It´s my second book written by Susan. My first one was "The stolen crown". But i have to say, i love the new book even more than ;the last. Finally some modern, actual, very human and emotional picture of hated Margaret of Anjou.Margaret seen through eyes of a modern woman. Great! I cannot say i would love this troublesome woman now. But i could understand some aspects of her life better. As a woman probably. But and that made me fall in love with this novel: Henry Beaufort. OMG, i never would say, i could be enamoured with this man. But i am. Finally someone who donesn´t give all attention to notorical and obviously irresistible Edward IV. (because i don´t like him, sooorry!). Susan has picked up other very interesting people living in this time- in the shadow of Roses. Henry Beaufort was definitely one of them. Thank you for the novel!
P.S. sorry for my english, i am german married to Frenchman, so english isn´t my first, nay even second language :)Lauranne D.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21031350.post-85140963017847143982011-07-25T15:58:56.778-04:002011-07-25T15:58:56.778-04:00Thanks, Jim!
