The New, Improved Traitor's Wife

This is a new edition of my novel, with even a shiny new ISBN number, 1-58348-475-2. I've made some minor stylistic changes and corrected some typographical errors that have been nagging at me for two years, but otherwise it's the same book, just prettier. (For those who are curious about the matter, this edition is being produced through iUniverse's Star program, offered to books that have met certain quality and sales criteria.)

Once I get my author copies in and give them the Higginbotham Seal of Approval, I'll be giving a few away on this blog, so keep checking back! In the meantime, you can order the new edition here. Soon, of course, it will be available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and other online booksellers as well and can be ordered through your friendly book-and-mortar bookstore.

The new cover is gorgeous. Is that a picture of a real castle, looks like it to me!

Also means it shall finally be easier for me to get a copy, as I couldn't last time.

Thanks, all! Alison, I don't know what castle it is, but I'm sure someone will tell me sooner or later, as they did with the picture of Riveaux Abbey on the last cover.

The cover is beautiful! I recently finished this book, but I'm glad I didn't wait for the new cover. The book is fantastic and I really enjoyed it!

Congratulations! It's a lovely cover. The castle looks rather like Eilean Donan Castle at the mouth of Loch Duich in the Western Highlands of Scotland, just off the Road to the Isles. If it is, you might like to know that it's known as "Scotland's Most Romantic Castle".

Elaine, thanks! I'll pass everyone's cover compliments on to the cover designer. Carla, thanks for the information!

Carla, that's what I thought too, which is why I asked, it's a really beautiful castle.

Susan, you've made me want to go off and research where it is now!

Alison - it's exactly what a castle ought to look like, isn't it? There's a location map on the official website for Eilean Donan if you're interested.

Yes, this is a lovely cover!

Definitely Eilean Donan. I took my share of pics of it, back when I still had an analog camera.

Let me look, maybe there's one I could scan in and post.

Lovely cover. I like the colour scheme. And no headless woman in sight. :)
